ESPN Announces Preseason List of League's Best 25 Players
Three Former MVPs Among Top Performers
The WNBA season is just around the corner, and ESPN has released its preseason rankings of the league's best 25 players. Leading the list are three former MVPs: Breanna Stewart, A'ja Wilson, and Elena Delle Donne. Stewart, the reigning MVP, is coming off a dominant season with the Seattle Storm, while Wilson, the 2020 MVP, helped lead the Las Vegas Aces to their first WNBA championship in 2022. Delle Donne, the 2015 and 2019 MVP, is looking to bounce back from a tough season with the Washington Mystics.
The Aces had the most players on the list with four, including Wilson, Chelsea Gray, Kelsey Plum, and Jackie Young. The Sky and Sun each had three players ranked, while the Liberty, Sparks, and Storm each had two. The Lynx, Mystics, and Wings each had one player on the list.
