Aryna Sabalenka discusses her straight-sets victory over Elina Svitolina in the Roland-Garros

Sabalenka defeated 15th-seed Svitolina 6-3 6-2 in one hour and 12 minutes on Tuesday

The Belarusian is now through to the fourth round of the French Open for the first time in her career

World No2 Aryna Sabalenka has discussed her straight-sets victory over Elina Svitolina in the Roland-Garros. The Belarusian defeated 15th-seed Svitolina 6-3 6-2 in one hour and 12 minutes on Tuesday to reach the fourth round of the French Open for the first time in her career.

"I'm really happy with my performance today," Sabalenka said. "I played very aggressively and I was able to control the match from the start. I think I served well and I was able to put a lot of pressure on her with my groundstrokes."

Sabalenka will now face either Amanda Anisimova or Karolina Muchova in the fourth round. She is the highest-ranked player remaining in the draw after Iga Swiatek's shock defeat to Daria Kasatkina on Monday.
