River Plate and Boca Juniors Play to a 1-1 Draw in the Argentine Copa De La Liga Profesional
The Superclásico between River Plate and Boca Juniors ended in a 1-1 draw at the Monumental Stadium in Buenos Aires on February 25, 2024.
Goals were scored by Pablo Solari for the Millonarios in the 49th minute and Miguel Borja for Boca in the 92nd minute.
The match was a closely contested affair, with both teams having chances to win. River Plate had the better of the first half, but Boca Juniors came out stronger in the second half and eventually equalized in the dying minutes.
The draw leaves River Plate top of the Copa De La Liga Profesional standings with 16 points from seven games, while Boca Juniors are second with 13 points from the same number of games.
The next match between the two teams will be on March 12, 2024, at the Bombonera Stadium.
